Property occupiers (tenants) are able to claim Capital Allowances on construction, refurbishment, repair and fit-out works carried out to the property that houses their buisiness even though they do not own the land or property within which the works have taken place; providing they can identify the capital expenditure as an expense pursuant to their business or trade.
